Parcours de recherche

J’ai étudié la physique à l’Université de Stuttgart. Le sujet de ma thèse était l’étude de la fusion de l’interface de la glace avec des rayons X à haute énergie. La thèse a été organisée par l’Université de Stuttgart, l’Institut Max Planck pour la recherche sur les métaux et l’European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). J’ai continué mes recherches avec un post-doc à l’ESRF dans lequel j’ai étudié la structure des macromolécules dans les arthropodes. En 2010, j’ai été embauché par SOLEIL tant que responsable de la ligne de lumière PUMA.

D’autres sujets de recherche que j’ai étudié sont les processus de formation des hydrates, impuretés dans les carottes de glace de l’Antarctique et des études structurales sur des macromolécules biologiques.
