The E-RIHS project -– European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science -– has been inscribed in the 2016 ESFRI Roadmap. The official announcement has been made in Amsterdam at the ESFRI Launch event, 10 March 2016.
E-RIHS is a European Research Infrastructure dedicated to the study of cultural and natural heritage materials.
It provides transnational access to advanced technologies (synchrotron, ion beams, lasers, movable instruments, etc.) for collections of heritage objects and scientific archives, for digital data of heritage researches, and their associated methods.
Together with the C2RMF in Paris (Centre de recherche et de restauration des musées de France), IPANEMA coordinates the French participation in the infrastructure E-RIHS.
