The project E-RIHS – European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science – has been identified by the ESFRI Roadmap 2016. The official announcement has been made in Amsterdam on the ESFRI Launch event, 10th of March 2016.
E-RIHS is a European Research Infrastructure dedicated to the study of cultural and natural heritage materials.
It provides transnational access to advanced technologies (synchrotron, ion beams, laser, movable facilities, etc.) for collections of heritage objects and scientific archives, for digital data of heritage researches, and their associated methods.
Together with the C2RMF in Paris (Centre de recherche et de restauration des musées de France), IPANEMA coordinates the French participation in the infrastructure E-RIHS.
More information about the project E-RIHS is available at the website of the ESFRI Roadmap.
