Loïc Bertrand (IPANEMA, France), Jan van’t Hof (RCE, Netherlands) and Matija Strlic (UCL, United Kingdom) detailed the drafting process of this document, which summarizes the scientific vision, governance and operating modes of E-RIHS.

A discussion on access modes in E-RIHS was also moderated by Claire Pacheco (C2RMF, France). Marta Castillejo (CSIC, Spain) presented the status of the national E-RIHS nodes.

The 6th Interim meeting was preceded by an international seminar entitled "From cross-disciplinary research to heritage science", which was organised by the CNR and Opificio delle Pietre Dure at Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Florence. During this seminar, Isabelle Pallot-Frossard (C2RMF, France) presented examples of interdisciplinary collaborations at C2RMF and Loïc Bertrand detailed the scientific vision of E-RIHS.

The next Interim meeting of E-RIHS will take place in February 2019 in Madrid.
The morning was used to discuss the impact study of the project. It focused mainly on the scientific and technical strategy for the future infrastructure. The afternoon was devoted to legal issues, as well as issues of access and integration of resources at European level.
