Paris-Saclay’s Maison des Sciences de l’Homme (MSH) will be inaugurated during a conference on 27th Januray 2017 at Saint-Rémy-Lès-Chevreuse.
Paris-Saclay’s MSH aims to promote interdisciplinarity between humanities and social sciences and wish to be a structure open to dialogue with other sciences at the heart of the Paris-Saclay territory.
This inaugural conference will gather the humanities and social sciences community from Paris-Saclay area and will associate it to the writing of the MSH’s scientific strategy.
The programme of this event is organised around several axes :
- Presentation of the structure of Paris-Saclay’s MSH
- Discussions and roundtable on the strategy for humanities and social sciences at Paris-Saclay University
- Parallel workshops where researchers and scholars will discuss the scientific axes of Paris-Saclay’s MSH
- Roundtable on interdisciplinarity
IPANEMA will contribute to the implementation of the scientific project of the MSH, especially through the participation to the work of the scientific axe “nature of culture” that will focus on material and immaterial heritage issues.
