The DIM (Key Research Sector) Matériaux anciens et patrimoniaux network gathers almost 80 laboratories and more than 600 researchers from Ile-de-France Region. Twenty enterprises and museum, and the three SATT (societies for accelerating technology transfers) of the Region are associated to the project.
The originality of this research network relies on its strong multidisciplinary dimension (physics, chemistry, informatics, biology, history, art history, archaeology). It also integrates economic and social players in the area of cultural and natural heritage and its valorisation.
