by Bénédicte Charbonnel - published on

Registration for the Scientific Symposium Frontiers in Heritage Science has just opened. The Symposium will be held on 14 and 15 February 2019, at the occasion of the opening of the new auditorium of the Institut de France (Paris, France).

The Symposium is one of the two core events of the World Meeting on Heritage, Sciences and Technologies that will take place in Paris from 13 to 16 February 2019.
The World Meeting is organized by the French Académie des sciences and IPANEMA under the aegis of the Interacademic Group for Development and in partnership with 13 Academies from France and abroad.

As a scientist, scholar, or policy-maker in the field, your presence is essential to demonstrate the growing strength of the research community studying ancient and historical material systems from cultural heritage and natural history.

The Symposium will bring together internationally-renowned scientists in the field of heritage materials studies. The high-level invited speakers will provide a constructive synthesis of current works and draw future perspectives for research on heritage materials. This synthesis will be a valuable resource for defining the strategic research agendas of participating institutions.
