The monochromator of PUMA has been installed int the optics hutch. This equipment has been financed by the region Île-de-France and the French ministry for higher education and research and has been built by the company CINEL. It uses a system of two silicon crystals to select the energy of the X-rays that will be used for the experiments on the beamline.
