Program
The central theme of the SR2A series of conferences is the innovative use of methods employing synchrotron and neutron radiation (and related types of radiation) for the investigation of artistic and archaeological materials and artifacts. Since the first edition of the conference in 2005, SR2A has become a forum for discussion and presentation of up-to-date activities regarding the use of penetrating forms of radiation for non-destructive inspection and analysis of materials from the past.
Specific focus will be put on :
New methods and analytical processes,
Conservation and alteration,
Processes and chaînes opératoires, and
the Study of palaeontological specimens.

Social events
The event will include several social events :
A welcome at the C2RMF, Musée du Louvre, Paris ;
A dinner. The conference dinner will be held Thursday, September 11 in the restaurant of the prestigious Musée d’Orsay on the 2nd floor of the museum. The former restaurant d’Orsay opened in 1900 is classified as a historical monument. Dinner prepared by the chef Yann Landureau will be preceded by a visit to the museum. Please note that a maximum number of attendees can attend the dinner, so please register early ;
