Mini-Conference & Board Games – Thursday, June 12, 2025, at Le Deck Bar
What if we looked at ancient objects… through the eyes of scientists?
During a special Eurêkartes evening organized by the Scube association, board game enthusiasts swapped their pawns for pipettes and discovered how science helps reveal the secrets of our cultural heritage — from paintings and fossils to archaeological artifacts, like those studied at IPANEMA.
Guided by our chemist–alterologist Clara Hairie, participants slipped into white lab coats and, for a few minutes, became researchers themselves, exploring fascinating scientific questions through experiments inspired by the synchrotron SOLEIL.
The evening continued in a friendly, playful atmosphere with board games themed around archaeology, paleontology, and heritage science — proving that science and gaming make an excellent team!
