“After earning a master’s degree in environmental studies specialising in heritage materials (Master MAPE, UPEC & Paris-cité) in 2019, I completed my doctoral thesis in materials chemistry at the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN). In collaboration with the Conservation Research Centre (CRC), the Paris Palaeontology Research Centre (CR2P) and the Lavoiser Institute in Versailles (ILV), my work aims to better understand the phenomenon of degradation of calcareous microfossils in museum environments polluted by VOCs (Byne degradation). After defending my thesis in June 2023, I joined the IPANEMA laboratory as a research engineer in synchrotron imaging and analysis. My role is to promote interactions between Museum researchers and SOLEIL teams through innovative and interdisciplinary research projects. I also co-organise research seminars at IPANEMA.”
