The APF’s annual congress aims to promote paleontology, facilitate its development, and foster communication among French-speaking paleontologists. It will be held from June 1 to 6, 2026, at the National Museum of Natural History.
The Association paléontologique française (APF) is a non-profit organization under the 1901 law, open to all upon registration. It publishes a newsletter, the Journal de l’APF, and organizes an annual conference. On this occasion, IPANEMA will be represented by Laurent TRANCHANT and Clara HAIRIE , who will present a talk on paleontological research conducted at the SOLEIL synchrotron. This presentation will highlight several projects illustrating the contribution of synchrotron techniques to the study of fossil materials and heritage collections, as well as the key role of the IPANEMA laboratory in monitoring, optimizing, and developing analytical methods dedicated to this research.
